How to add a "Book a table" button to your restaurant website
Your website is where guests decide. A booking button that opens right there, without a phone call or a second website, turns that decision into a table.

Guests check your website to see the menu, the photos and the address. That is the moment they decide, and the moment a "Book a table" button should be in front of them. Sending them to a phone number or another website loses some of them on the way.
What a good booking button does
- Opens on your page. The guest stays on your website while they book.
- Works on phones. Most guests visit from a phone, so the form should slide up from the bottom and close with the back gesture.
- Shows real free times. No "request" that someone has to answer later.
- Matches your brand. Your colours, your words ("Reserve", "Book a table"), in the guest's language.
Adding it in a few minutes
With Revotab you paste one line of code once, and every change you make later in Settings › Widget appears on your website by itself.
- WordPress: install a header and footer plugin (such as WPCode), paste the code in the footer and save.
- Wix: Settings › Custom code › Add custom code, choose all pages and "Body - end".
- Squarespace: Settings › Advanced › Code injection, paste it in the footer.
- Shopify: open your theme's code and paste it just before
</body>in theme.liquid. - Webflow: Site settings › Custom code › Footer code, then publish.
Then point any menu item or button at #revotab, and it opens the booking form too. To check it worked, use Check my website in the same settings page.
Place it where people decide
- In the top menu, on every page.
- Next to the menu, because that is where appetite turns into a plan.
- On the contact and opening hours page.
Not on your website?
You can still share your own booking page, at an address like bookings.revotab.com/your-restaurant, in your Instagram bio, on Google and in emails. The step-by-step guide is in the help centre.
